Don't expect to see these Hazbin Hotel cast members on Critical Role anytime soon - the improvisation would feel too much like work to them
We all love Critical Role, but don't expect to see these Hazbin Hotel stars in Exandria anytime soon.

While it was once considered the nerdiest of hobbies, it is becoming more common for actors to fess up to their love of Dungeons & Dragons, which is why the cast of Critical Role has constantly been adding to their ever-growing list of guests. However, don’t expect to see some of the cast of Hazbin Hotel show up in a D&D campaign like Critical Role – the whole idea sounds too much like acting to them.
When asked by a member of the audience if they had come across any of the art or stories made by Hazbin Hotel fans – and there is a lot of it out there – most of the cast at the MCM London Comic Con 2025 panel agreed that they tried not to engage with it too much for professional reasons. But Blake Roman, who plays Angel Dust in Hazbin Hotel, said that he was always fascinated by fans who have made D&D characters based on the denizens of Hell, which turned the attention to Kimiko Glenn (Nifty) and Stephanie Beatriz (Vaggie) and their history with D&D. Turns out they don’t have much.
“Honestly, I feel like I have performance anxiety about D&D,” Stephanie Beatriz explains. “I’m like, ‘Oh no, I have to like act?’” The game ends up feeling far too much like work to her and Kimiko Glenn. Which is a fair point, since many of the best moments in any Dungeons & Dragon campaign like Critical Role is the improvisation between players and watching the characters grow. Most of us try not to unwind by doing the same thing we do for work all day.
So Stephanie Beatriz and Kimiko Glenn probably aren’t going to show up on Critical Role anytime soon, though it sounds like Blake Roman would be the member of the Hazbin Hotel cast most likely to rock up to Exandria in Campaign Four – when it eventually happens.
