Like Water for Chocolate Season 2 release date: When the final season arrives on HBO

The six-episode season will conclude the HBO adaptation of Laura Esquivel's novel.

In 2024, HBO released the first season of Like Water for Chocolate, a new adaptation of the beloved 1989 novel by Laura Esquivel that is produced by Salma Hayek. Soon, the second season will arrive and complete the HBO adaptation of the novel. So, when can you expect the release date for the final season of Like Watch for Chocolate on HBO to arrive?

The Like Water for Chocolate Season 2 release date is February 15, 2026 on HBO. It has been a little over a year since the previous season concluded on December 8, 2024. Like the previous season, Like Water for Chocolate Season 2 will be comprised of six episodes. These will be released every week through the season finale on March 22, 2026. Of course, this is just one of the many TV and streaming show release dates that you'll have to juggle this spring. Here's the official teaser for Like Water for Chocolate Season 2:

 

Like Water for Chocolate stars Azul Guaita as Tita, Andrés Baida as Pedro and Irene Azuela as Mama Elena. The classic story follows Tita as she struggles with her family's tradition: as the youngest, she must not marry, but instead must remain single and care for her aging mother. As a result, Tita's only outlet for expressing herself is through her cooking. But can she ultimately find a happy ending?
