Josh Holloway is a complex guy, sweetheart. He doesn't think ABC would reboot Lost but he'd return as Sawyer anytime
The man who was Sawyer says that he's "solid with loss and closure" surrounding the iconic Lost, 15 years after it ended

In its day, it was one of the most talked-about shows on television, but almost 20 years later, Josh Holloway says that he doesn’t care about discussions surrounding a reboot of ABC’s Lost — because he doesn’t think it’d ever happen.
“I don’t have any feelings about it because I don’t believe they would do that,” the actor who played Sawyer on the series said when asked about the possibility of a reboot. That doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t get involved if asked, however. “I would be in — of course, why not? But I feel like that show’s ending… I’m solid with loss and closure. It’s been the most amazing experience and has the longest legs in the history of a TV show, it seems like.”
The actor is amused by the show’s recent revival in popularity as a new generation discovers it via streaming, he revealed. (Yes, “new generation,” and yes, “almost 20 years later” — Lost ran from 2004 through 2010, dear reader; you’re older than you think.)
“I remember some teenage girls laughing and looking at me, and I was like, ‘Oh God, what have I got on my face?’ And they’re like, ‘You’re on Lost.’ I was like, ‘Wow, you guys are just now watching that?’ So it’s interesting to have people come up to you with their daughters or sons and say, “I watched it 20 years ago, now I’m watching it with my son or my daughter.” That’s special. I love that because I have children.”
That doesn’t mean that his own kids are enjoying his resurgence — or even his earlier work — however. “Mine have never seen Lost, and they don’t give a damn,” he admitted, laughing.
Lost is currently streaming on Netflix. Holloway’s current project, Duster, is streaming on HBO Max with new episodes every Thursday.
