NCIS Sydney season 3 release date: When the spinoff down under will return to CBS

The Australian police procedural NCIS: Sydney is returning for another season this fall.

The NCIS franchise began when the original series spun out of JAG in 2003. And over the intervening years, the franchise expanded as several series spun out of the flagship NCIS series. Among them are NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawaii, NCIS: Sydney and NCIS: Origins. So far, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Hawaii. However, both NCIS: Sydney and NCIS: Origins are currently ongoing shows. So when is the release date for NCIS: Sydney season 3 on CBS?

The NCIS: Sydney season 3 release date is October 14 at 10:00 PM ET on CBS. After that, fresh episodes of NCIS: Sydney will continue to debut on a weekly basis in the same time slot. And if you're a fan of the NCIS franchise, you'll definitely want to be tuning in to CBS on Tuesdays this fall. In addition to NCIS: Sydney, the CBS Tuesday night lineup will also feature new episodes of the NCIS flagship series and NCIS: Origins. So far, there hasn't been a trailer for NCIS: Sydney released. But you can occupy your time while you wait by planning your viewing schedule for the fall.

NCIS: Sydney is the first entry in the expansive procedural franchise to be set outside the United States. Featuring Australian actors and producers, the show follows a joint task force created by the Australian Federal Police and NCIS. The series stars Olivia Swann as NCIS Special Agent-in-Charge Michelle Mackey, Todd Lasance as AFP Second-in-Command Sergeant Jim "JD" Dempsey, Sean Sagar as NCIS Special Agent DeShawn Jackson, Tuuli Narkle as AFP Liaison Officer Constable Evie Cooper, Mavournee Hazel as AFP forensic scientist Bluebird "Blue" Gleeson and William McInnes as AFP forensic pathologist Roy "Rosie" Penrose.

Season 3 of NCIS: Sydney debuts on October 14 at 10:00 PM ET on CBS.
