Marvel Midnight is Marvel Comics' newest shared universe, reimagining Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men as darker, horror-inspired versions of themselves. Rather than focusing on established horror heroes like Blade or Morbius, Marvel Midnight transforms some of Marvel's biggest superheroes into twisted, supernatural versions of themselves. Marvel describes the line as an ongoing universe rather than a one-off event, with stories designed to reshape familiar heroes through a horror lens.

"The world these creators are building is truly special, and the passion behind the stories they’re envisioning was palpable," says Marvel Comics publisher Dan Buckley, who is also stepping in to be executive editor of the line. "We wanted to match their ambition with this unique launch plan, one that allows both retailers and fans to fully immerse themselves into this new line right from the start.
