VisionQuest release date: We finally know when the Paul Bettany MCU show will come out on Disney+

VisionQuest, the show exploring intergenerational trauma in the MCU, will debut on Disney+ this fall

Ever since the trailer was screened for a select few at a panel at New York Comic-Con last year, fans have been wondering when the VisionQuest show starring Paul Bettany will hit Disney+. But now, we’ve finally got all the answers. Or at least some of them.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2026’s Marvel Studios panel, MCU boss Kevin Feige revealed that VisionQuest will be hitting Disney+ on October 14. That’s less than 3 months away, if you’re keeping track.

Over the past year, Bettany has been making the rounds on the convention circuit dishing on the themes of VisionQuest. James Spader will reprise his role as Ultron, Vision’s “dad” in the MCU, in a story about “fathers and sons” and “intergenerational trauma,” according to Bettany. Spader first joined the MCU when he debuted as Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron all the way back in 2015.

So much of the MCU is about dads and feeling bad about being a dad, so what’s one more? I’ll never say no to seeing more James Spader onscreen.
