Everybody's favorite animated sci-fi duo is coming back for more morally questionable adventures. That's right: Rick and Morty Season 9 will soon be arriving in your dimension. So, when can you expect the release date for the ninth season of the beloved series to arrive on Adult Swim?
The Rick and Morty Season 9 release date is May 24th, 2026 on Adult Swim. The season will be available to stream on both Hulu and HBO Max on August 31st, 2026. The season will consist of ten episodes which will debut on Adult Swim on a weekly basis. It has been about a year since the previous season of Rick and Morty concluded on July 27th, 2025. The ninth season of Rick and Morty stars Harry Belden as Morty Smith, Ian Cardoni as Rick Sanchez, Sarah Chalke as Beth Smith(s), Spencer Grammer as Summer Smith and Chris Parnell as Jerry Smith. As with previous seasons of Rick and Morty, you can expect plenty of sci-fi chaos to occur in season 9. The trailer promises encounters with Kung Fu masters, electromagnets and motorcycles, along with plenty more weird creatures and conflicts.
