From the minds that brought you the chills of Stranger Things comes an all-new horror series. Starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Camila Morrone and Adam DiMarco, Something Very Bad is Going to Happen follows the story of an engaged couple during the week leading up to their "ill-fated" wedding. So, when can you stream the spooky new Netflix show for yourself?

The Something Very Bad is Going to Happen Season 1 release date is March 26th, 2026 on Netflix. All eight episodes of the season will debut on March 26th. The show was created and showrun by Haley Z. Boston. While there are plenty of upcoming TV and streaming shows to vie for your attention this spring, Something Very Bad is Going to Happen is sure to be near the top of the "most anticipated" list. Something Very Bad is Going to Happen follows Rachel (Morrone) and Nicky (DiMarco), who are set to be married in a week's time. At least, until the titular bad thing happens, anyway. The mysterious horror show also stars Leigh as Victoria, Ted Levine as Boris, Jeff Wilbusch as Jules, Karla Crome as Nell, Gus Birney as Portia and Zlatko Burić in an undisclosed role.
