Spider-Noir Season 1 release date: When the Nicolas Cage series arrives on MGM+ and Prime Video

Have you noticed an increase in rain-scented wind lately? No, it isn't a change in the weather, it's just a sign that Spider-Noir has almost arrived. The Nicolas Cage-starring series features the breakout black-and-white character from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. So, when can you expect the release date for Spider-Noir Season 1 on Prime Video to swing onto your calendar?

The Spider-Noir Season 1 release date is May 25, 2026 on cable channel MGM+ and May 27, 2026 on Prime Video. (All eight episodes of the season will be available to Prime Video on that latter date.) It has been almost three years since the second Spider-Verse movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, was released in theaters in July 2023, which was the last time Nicolas Cage played the character. And as exciting as Spider-Noir may be, let's not forget there are plenty of other TV and streaming release dates to keep in mind in the coming months. While he originated in the panels of Marvel Comics, Spider-Noir swung into the wider public consciousness alongside Spider-Ham and others in 2018's animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The live-action show, which will be available to watch in both full color and black-and-white versions, promises to expand the character as it explores his world, which was only glimpsed in the original movie - although the series is not a spin-off from the movie but an alternate take on the character, according to showrunner Oren Uziel. (That might be a polite way of warning us not to expect any other Spider cameos.) In addition to Cage, the star-studded cast includes Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li as feline femme fatale Cat Hardy, and Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane.

The release date for Spider-Noir Season 1 on MGM+ is May 25, 2026; the release date for Prime Video is May 27, 2026.
