Sons of Anarchy creator's The Abandons Season 1 release date: When the show starring Lena Headey & Gillian Anderson arrives on Netflix

The Western action drama series was created by Kurt Sutter for Netflix.

In the upcoming Western action drama The Abandons on Netflix, Fiona Nolan (Lena Headey) attempts to build a family by adopting four orphans and acquiring a house in Oregon. But her newfound life is soon threatened by several European aristocrats who lay claim to her newly acquired home. So when will the release date for The Abandons Season 1 on Netflix arrive?

The Abandons Season 1 release date is December 4, 2025 on Netflix. All episodes of the new show’s first season will be available for streaming on that date. Series creator Kurt Sutter has been working on the premise for the series since before he created Sons of Anarchy. And as you’re well aware, The Abandons Season 1 is just one of the upcoming TV release dates you’ll want to be sure to have marked on your calendar. Currently, there is no official trailer available for The Abandons Season 1.

The Abandons Season 1 is set in 1854 in Washington Territory. The show will center two monarchs from very different families. One, Nolan, is from a family of orphans who are bound to one another by love and survival. The other, Constance Van Ness (Gillian Anderson), is from a family of wealth and priviledge. The cast will also include Lucas Till as Garret Van Ness, Aisling Franciosi as Trisha Van Ness, Nick Robinson as Elias Teller, Diana Silvers as Dahlia Teller, Lamar Johnson as Albert Mason and Natalia del Riego as Lilla Belle. Plus, you can expect to see Patton Oswalt in a recurring role.

The release date for The Abandons Season 1 on Netflix is December 4, 2025.
