The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins Season 2: Release date, timeslot and more

The star-studded sports mockumentary sitcom is a critical smash hit

The star-studded sports mockumentary sitcom The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins is a cornucopia of comedic catnip. The Season 1 finale debuted on April 13th, 2026, and fans were soon asking if the show would return for another season. NBC has already renewed The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins for Season 2, and you can expect to see those episodes begin to arrive in the fall (and rise) of 2026.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins stars the one-and-only Tracy Morgan in the titular role. Dinkins is a former football star who is trying to rekindle his career. He's aided by his ex-wife and business manager, Monica (Erika Alexander), and the two have a teenage son, Carmelo (Jalyn Hall). Dinkins also has a fiancée, Brina (Precious Way). Rounding out the cast is Dinkins' best friend and former teammate, Rusty (Bobby Moynihan), and the director of his documentary, Arthur Tobin (Daniel Radcliffe).

It's no surprise that The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins has been renewed for a second season. The debut episode was the most-watched comedy episode of the 2025-2026 broadcast TV season. It was also NBC's most watched comedy series debut since Night Court began in 2023. And on Rotten Tomatoes, the show holds a 97% Fresh rating. Here's a complication clip from the series:

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins Season 2 will begin November 2, 2026. New episodes will air Mondays at 8:30pm Eastern and Pacific, 7:30pm Central, right after new episodes of St. Denis Medical.
