The Neighborhood season 8 release date: When the final season of Cedric the Entertainer's sitcom debuts on CBS

The eighth and final season of The Neighborhood will be arriving on your TV screen soon.

In The Neighborhood, a white couple from the Midwest relocates to a predominantly Black neighborhood in Pasadena, California. The sitcom was created by Jim Reynolds and originally debuted on CBS in 2018. And soon, the show's eighth and final season will be welcomed to our TV screens. So when can you expect to see the season premiere of The Neighborhood season 8?

The Neighborhood season 8 premiere release date is October 13 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS. The remaining episodes of the season will air on a weekly basis. It's been just a few months since The Neighborhood season 7 concluded airing, on May 5, 2025. And as noted above, the show's eighth season will be its last. It was renewed for its final season in March 2025. Fortunately, there will be more than a few other exciting TV options coming your way in the future.

The Neighborhood's cast is filled with talented comedic actors. Cedric the Entertainer stars as Calvin Butler and Tichina Arnold as Calvin's wife, Tina Butler. Meanwhile, the Midwestern couple who relocated to Pasadena is played by Max Greenfield (Dave Johnson) and Beth Behrs (Gemma Johnson). Rounding out the cast are the Butler's kids, Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) and Marty (Marcel Spears), and the Johnson's kid, Grover (Hank Greenspan). In the show's sixth season, Calvin and Marty together opened Fuse Box, a repair shop that focuses on electric cars. There Marty met the mother of his child, Courtney Pridgeon (Skye Townsend), who gave birth to their daughter Daphne in the season 6 finale. And in the show's seventh season finale, the Butlers and the Johnsons helped Malcolm relocate to a new neighborhood.

Season 8 of The Neighborhood will debut on October 13 on CBS.
