The Traitors US alum Bob the Drag Queen drops a piece of advice for future players: "You are not as good at this game as you think you are"

Bob the Drag Queen, who competed on season 3 of The Traitors, emphasized the role that "luck" plays in winning the Peacock show

If you've watched The Traitors US season 3 on Peacock, you'd know that Bob the Drag Queen and Boston Rob are two of the fiercest to ever compete on the show. Now, the two stars have joined forces as the hosts of the official podcast of The Traitors as season 4 comes to a close. And as you might imagine, both of them have thoughts and feelings about what makes a successful player on The Traitors.

In an interview with our video producer, Ashley Victoria Robinson, as part of our Popversations series, Boston Rob and Bob the Drag Queen were asked what piece of advice they would give to future players on the show. Bob said, "So far, in four seasons, someone slipping up and calling themself a Traitor has never, ever caught a Traitor. We have to stop getting people on slip-ups. It happened with Peppermint, it happened with Porsha. Y'all, it has never caught a Traitor! People misspeak all the time."

Bob elaborated, "But also, you really gotta check your ego at the door. I'm telling you, I don't care who you are, you are not as good at this game as you think you are. A big part of winning this show is just straight-up luck."

Boston Rob agreed with Bob on their pieces of advice, adding that players should come onto the show and "be willing to adapt." "Make sure that you're self-aware, that's the most important thing. And don't think you remember everything as it is," said Boston Rob.
