It's all doom and gloom at Nevermore Academy, but the Wednesday season 2 cast seemed to have fun on their group vacation to Greece

The Addams' daughter isn't the "sun and and type," but the real people that play her friends and family on Netflix's Wednesday season 2 seem to be

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Nevermore Academy of Netflix's Wednesday is set somewhere in Vermont, no? In any case, it's definitely not filmed there. For Wednesday's season 2, much of the camera work was done in beautiful (and appropriately misty) Ireland. Apparently, though, the cast got a break from the green and folklore-steeped nation and headed on a group trip to Greece. At least, that's the way newcomer Noah Taylor tells it.

Popverse spoke to Taylor, who plays werewolf heartthrob Bruno, a couple of days ahead of the release of Wednesday season 2, and we got some info about the behind the scenes process of making the show. Or rather, what the cast got to do in between making the show.

"I was in Dublin for the whole shoot," said Taylor, recounting his time on set, "And we shot in blocks which weren’t always chronological. There was roughly a weeklong break midway through shooting and I got to go on a trip to Greece with some of the cast which was a great time."

Personally, I would've spent the time searching for fairies and other supernatural creatures in the gorgeous Irish countryside, but I completely understand the appeal of beaches and blue waters off the coast of Greece. Also, there's a small but strong showing of actual gorgons in this season of Wednesday, so I guess you could consider what they were doing to be research?

Wednesday season 2 part 1 is on Netflix now, with part 2 of the season coming September 3.
