2026 is shaping up to be a blockbuster year for DC Comics, with the thriving new Absolute line, the just-relaunched Vertigo imprint, and a reinvestment in its core line with DC's 'Next Level' initative. And on Saturday, March 7 DC brought it to conventions, in its first major appearance at a convention in 2026: Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con. But don't worry, Popverse was there giving play-by-play on the whole thing.

DC's Batman group editor Rob Levin wled a wide-ranging conversation with G. Willow Wilson (Poison Ivy), Denys Cowan (Nightwing), Jason Aaron (Absolute Superman), Tony Fleecs (Deathstroke), Kyle Starks (End of Life), and Jeph Loeb (Batman: H2SH, Batman/Wonder Woman: Truth).
