There's a lot at stake in Prime Video's Wheel of Time series. The villain in previous seasons of the show was an entity known as The Dark One, and characters fretted about The Last Battle that they were fated to become entangled in. At the center of it all was a humble farm boy named Rand (why is it always farm boys who get caught up in struggles between the Light and Dark, anyways?). And as the teaser trailer for season 3 of The Wheel of Time shows us, things are about to get more complicated for Rand and his friends.
The Wheel of Time season 3 will be released on Prime Video on March 13, 2025. In the teaser, we can see Rosamund Pike's Moiraine struggle to find an outcome with Rand where it doesn't involve one of them dying. As she's discovered thus far, in order for Rand to live, she must die, and vice versa. Not exactly an ideal situation for them, no.
The Wheel of Time on Prime Video is an adaptation of the Wheel of Time book series by Robert Jordan. Rosamund Pike is joined by Daniel Henney, Barney Harris, Josha Stradowski, Zoë Robins, Madeleine Madden, and Álvaro Morte. Pike is also an executive producer on the show. Currently, you can stream both seasons 1 and 2 of the show on Prime Video. And, since the next season of the show isn't due for another 3 months, you can also binge-read the Wheel of Time books if you're feeling particularly ambitious. Who's up for a New Year's Resolution?
