Netflix viewers really are ready to rumble, watching more than 500 million hours of WWE in 2025

Monday Night Raw accounted for more than 340 million hours viewed in 2025, so Netflix are expanding their WWE offering in 2026

Something that remains true, no matter how much time passes, is that people still love professional wrestling. Seeing giant men throwing each other around while wearing tight spandex appeals to people for plenty of reasons, which is probably why Netflix was so eager to be able to stream the WWE’s live events for the past year. It was a gamble for a streamer that isn’t known for live sporting events, but it seems to have paid off with how many hours fans have been watching wrestling on Netflix.

Overall, Netflix says that subscribers watched over 525 million hours of WWE shows last year. The biggest winner was Monday Night Raw, which accounted for 340 million views worldwide. In the US, that was the only WWE wrestling on offer with Netflix, but other regions had a wider selection to choose from. WrestleMania and the annual Royal Rumble, along with the weekly SmackDown show, accounted for the remaining 185 million views.

The figures given don’t break down the Monday Night Raw figures for US and international markets, so it is difficult to say how much of that 340 million-hour figure comes from where. We do know that Monday Night Raw was in the Netflix Top 10 for 51 out of 52 weeks last year in the US, which is more than any other region.

Clearly, there is still a huge appetite for wrestling, and Netflix is keen to capitalize on it. They’ve already extended the partnership with WWE through 2026 and plan to expand their offering by streaming several 2025 WWE premium events in the US. The people have spoken, and they want to watch more sweaty men putting a beatdown on each other.
