If you were a Nickelodeon kid circa 2005, you certainly knew about the Winx Club. Created by Italian studio RainbowS.p.A., the series went off the air in 2019 after a revival in 2011. But soon, more magic will be available from the world of Winx, as comic publisher Mad Cave announces Winx Club Vol. II: Friends, Witches and Monsters, heading to stores this summer.

The second Winx collection to come out of Mad Cave's young reader imprint Papercutz, Friends, Witches and Monsters collects three spellbinding stories of the Winx gang - 'A Friend for Bloom,' 'Prisoners of the Dark' and 'The Swamp Monster.'

All originally published in Italy, 'Prisoners of the Dark' makes its first appearance in both the US and the English language in this collection, with the other two stories having previously been printed by VIZ Media. In a recent press release, Mad Cave summarized the collection as follows:

"Join the Winx Club, a group of fairies who fight evil using their unique magical powers! In this second installment, Bloom continues to build strong bonds at Fairy school in Magix, with her superpowered girlfriends, while battling scary monsters, and wicked witches — all the while becoming stronger herself and finding the true meaning of friendship."

The creative team for the collection has not been announced.

Winx Club Vol II: Friends, Witches, & Monsters hits comic shelves June 4, 2024 - and you can preorder it now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Bookshop. As you wait, check out the previews below.
