The long-anticipated Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series from Netflix finally arrives next month. Yu Yu Hakusho is rated TV-MA in the US. This corresponds to the MPA's R rating for movies. Programs with this rating are generally not suitable for people or individuals under 17. Netflix's details on the rating for Yu Yu Hakusho in the US mention strong violence and use of tobacco, but it's reasonable to also expect coarse language and even some scary sequences depending on how it deals with demons and the supernatural.

Yu Yu Hakusho is rated 15 in the UK. According to the BBFC, this type of video content is suitable only for persons aged 15 or over. It's equivalent to the MPA's R rating in the United States.
