My Dress-Up Darling's final chapter is no longer the final chapter of the manga as we speculate when the promised epilogue will drop
An epilogue and side story were promised on the final panel of the manga, but we'll probably have to wait a long time to see them.

The final chapter of My Dress-Up Darling made a lot of promises about the characters. Gojo and Marin get their happy ending, complete with wedding photos and a home they share with Wakana’s grandfather. But is their story really over? The final panel of Chapter 115 of My Dress-Up Darling has a message that this isn’t the end of the manga. For that, we’ll probably have to wait for season two of the anime to come out and the final volume of the manga to be published.
As we mentioned in our breakdown of the My Dress-Up Darling ending, the final chapter isn’t really the final chapter of the popular manga. The final panel of Chapter 115 promises both an epilogue and a side story in the “near future” without actually giving a release date. If we had to guess – which we do since there is no indication about when this new material will come out – we would wager that we’ll have to wait until two upcoming releases.
We wouldn’t be surprised if the side story, possibly covering the time when Gojo and Marin settle into their new relationship, to come out around the time that the second season of the anime comes out in July 2025. It would make sense to try to capitalize on the excitement around the anime’s return to promote this new story.
As for the epilogue, that is likely to be added as bonus material in the final volume when it is published. Volume 13 was published in Japan in May 2024 and covers up to Chapter 102. That leaves another 13 chapters to publish, which will probably be enough for two more volumes. If the current rate of publication continues, we can expect Volume 15 of My Dress-Up Darling, complete with the impending epilogue, published in Japan in the Spring of 2026. So fans will still be waiting for more than a year to see the story wrapped up completely, and there are plenty of plot threads left to wrap up.
