The biggest question is how many bottlecaps did they all get paid?

The first thing that comes to mind when you think about Fallout might be the iconic power armor or the terrifying deathclaws that populate the Wastelands, but the series has always been home to a memorable cast of characters. When Amazon’s TV show finally lands in April 2024, a lot of its success will hinge on how well the games’ unique sense of humor is delivered. Fallout’s season one cast will need to be both exciting and funny in the face of a charging supermutant – not a small task.

The advantage of the Fallout setting is that it gives endless opportunities for the writers of the TV show to put their own spin on it. Because the show is set in Los Angeles, we don’t expect to see many familiar faces from the games among the Fallout cast, which includes:

  • Ella Purnell as Lucy, a Vault Dweller and one of the main protagonists
  • Aaron Moten as Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel and one of the main protagonists
  • Walton Goggins as The Ghoul/Cooper Howard, a mutated bounty hunter and one of the main protagonists
  • Kyle MacLachlan as Hank, Lucy’s father
  • Xelia Mendes-Jones as Dane
  • Mike Doyle as Mr. Spencer
  • Moisés Arias as Norm
  • Cherien Dabis as Birdie
  • Dale Dickey as Ma June
  • Matty Cardarople as Heuy
  • Michael Emerson as Wilzig
  • Dave Register as Chet
  • Rodrigo Luzzi as Reg
  • Annabel O’Hagan as Steph
  • Matt Berry as Mr. Handy
  • Sarita Choudhury in an undisclosed role
  • Leslie Uggams in an undisclosed role
  • Chris Parnell in an undisclosed role
  • Frances Turner in an undisclosed role
  • Zach Cherry in an undisclosed role

The cast is a good balance between dramatic actors and those known for their comedic timing, so we’re hopeful that they’ll manage to find the right tone to do the games justice.
