Date Everything has the most “unhinged” fanbase that video game star Ben Starr has ever witnessed (and he's been in a lot!)
Ben Starr makes his case for why Date Everything has the most unhinged fanbase in the video game community

Ben Starr is no stranger to video games. The actor has lent his voice to many popular video games, including Final Fantasy XVI, Fortnite, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. However, of all the roles Starr has played, there is one that stands out.
“Mine is Dorian from Date Everything,” Ben Starr says during a panel at Emerald City Comic Con 2026. “I’ve got to give a shout-out to that fanbase. Talk about unhinged. I love you all.”
If you’re not familiar with the madness that is Date Everything, Starr explains it.
“For those who don’t know, I voice a door. Actually, I voice 17 doors in a game where you can date inanimate objects. And it is just so joyful. It’s a celebration of diversity. It is a celebration of humanity, and you can also pretend that you’re fucking inanimate objects. And they all have different romantic, sexual desires and wants and needs, and it’s like, yeah, you want to get down with the trash. Let’s go. And those who haven’t, I’m going to shout out that video game. It’s so silly and fun.”
In fact, Dorian isn’t the only character Starr voices in Date Everything.
“In Date Everything, I play a character called Back Dorian. Back Dorian is just Dorian, but I’m facing away from the microphone. It’s so fucking stupid, and I love it.”
Amazing.
