Ghosts and Ghosts UK casts similarities and differences?

Ghosts UK, the BBC British sitcom which has inspired Ghosts the CBS American sitcom, debuted its latest Christmas Special yesterday - Happy Christmas to all who celebrate! This original incarnation of the show debuted in 2019 and garnered an American television adaptation on CBS in 2021. Unlike so many other franchises which debut abroad and then garner an American adaptation both Ghosts UK and Ghosts are beloved and celebrated by the fandom for the unique flair, tone, and characters each show brings to the small screen. There are similarities and there are differences, and that's okay!
