Haikyuu! movie release date: When Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump releases in the US
We finally have a release date
Popverse's top stories of the day
- Hannibal wouldn't be a fan of Chicago's local food scene, according to Mads Mikkelsen (but, then again, he's a cannibal)
- Watch: Artist's Alley Asks: Superman or Fantastic Four? Gene Ha, Cully Hamner, Jarrett Melendez, Rachael Stott, Soo Lee, and Tim Seeley weigh in on their cinematic preference
- Brandon Sanderson tried (very hard) to change one character arc on the Wheel of Time show
Fans of the anime Haikyuu! have been looking forward to the upcoming movie ever since it was first announced several years ago. With the Japanese release date for Haikyuu! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump already past, those of us in English-speaking countries are wondering when we’ll get to see Shoyo Hinata and the rest of the Karasuno High School volleyball team in action once more.
When is Haikyuu! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump releasing in the US/?
Instead of a final season to wrap up the story, Haikyuu! is getting a pair of movies to cover the remaining chapters of the manga. The first of those movies, Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump released on February 16, 2024, in Japan. In the US, there will be a theatrical release date of May 31, 2024, both dubbed and subbed.
