Even moreso than the Addams Family/Burger King team-up last year, the most sensible horror brand to team up with a fast food joint is Five Nights at Freddy's. But who they've decided to team up with may surprise you. Announced (and available as of) today, the iconic horror game franchise turned Blumhouse blockbuster is teaming up not with a place primarily known for its pizza... but Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

"At Popeyes, we love playing with bold flavors," Popeyes VP of Culinary Amy Alarcon said in a statement released November 17, "And what better playground than the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s? [...] Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is an iconic part of the film, so we had a blast reimagining that fun, over-the-top energy through our menu. It’s our way of giving fans a delicious taste of the movie’s universe, where that iconic Popeyes flavor meets a little bit of nostalgic pizzeria mystery."

To Alarcon's point (and we have to hand it to Popeyes here), the chicken-forward fast food chain isn't forgetting about Freddy's home at the Pizzeria that bears his name (heh, bears his name). You can see the proof for yourself by checking out the Freddy Fazbear Crunch Menu, listed below as described by Popeyes' statement:

• Freddy Fazbear Deluxe Box: 3 pieces of Popeyes classic or spicy mouthwatering chicken tenders topped with a savory garlic parmesan rub, served with warm, garlic crusted Cheesy Bites and a marinara dipping sauce, a Cupcake Cup, and a beverage to wash it all down 
• Freddy Fazbear Box: 3 pieces of Popeyes classic or spicy mouthwatering chicken tenders topped with a savory garlic parmesan rub, served with warm, garlic-crusted Cheesy Bites and a marinara dipping sauce
• Cheesy Bites with Marinara Sauce: Lightly hand-breaded, garlic-crusted cheese curds made with white cheddar cheese and fried to golden perfection. Served warm with one cup of rich marinara sauce 
• Cupcake Cup: A moist strawberry-flavored cake topped with sweet pink icing

I mean, you have to have a cupcake on a Five Nights at Freddy's menu, don't you? Otherwise, it would feel incomplete. Let's just hope that it's not too true to form; we don't want said cupcake biting back. 

Popeyes' Freddy Fazbear Crunch Menu is available at participating locations now, and Five Nights at Freddy's 2 comes to theaters on December 5.
