Multiple M3GANs are at Universal Orlando to promote M3GAN 2.0, but don't you dare try to join them

Roving bands of M3GANs are out at Universal Orlando, recreating her famous dance to promote the upcoming sequel film. Also in attendance? Park security.

Sorry M3GANites, the M3GAN dance is for M3GAN alone.

If you don't believe me, head to Universal Orlando Resort, where for a limited time, groups of M3GAN lookalikes will be roaming the park, stopping here and there to perform a synchronized version of the now-famous M3GAN dance from the first film. This is of course to promote upcoming sequel M3GAN 2.0, and we assume to celebrate all that M3GAN has done for pop culture in the past 2 years. But if you're celebrating along with them, you're going to have to do it from the sidelines, because Universal appears to have stationed park security around the dance mobs.

We got this story from Universal Parks News Today, who helpfully published some photos of the roving M3GANs as well as some of the park-exclusive ads for the killer robot sequel. Head to their site to see the dance troops dressed in full M3GAN regalia and pulling some recognizable M3GAN moves, and while you're there, take a closer look at the dancers's surroundings. At least three green-shirted park staffers are in every photo, keeping a watchful eye on crowds as the M3GANs do their thing.

And hey, it's understandable! M3GAN fans are crazy about their favorite viral villain - partially proven by the fact that on Netflix, where M3GAN is currently streaming, the 2022 movie is the fourth Most-Watched English Language Film. Does that mean that a M3GAN fan is guaranteed to interrupt the practiced flash mob the park is using to promote the 2025 sequel? Maybe not, but if one of you does get ballsy enough, know that the park already has a plan in place.

Who knows? Maybe they even gave the all the dancers one of those industrial paper cutters just in case.

(The irony of the whole thing is that M3GAN director Gerard Johnstone has tried to distance himself from the dance, promising that the sequel won't include another such moment.)

M3GAN 2.0 dances into theaters June 27. M3GAN is available on Netflix now.
