One Punch Man season 3 has been confirmed for 2025 to celebrate the anime's 10 year anniversary
To celebrate ten years since the original anime was released, there will be ten new "attacks" around One Punch Man in 2025. The anime is one of them.

It has been a long time coming, but One Punch Man fans finally have something to look forward to. While the manga has struggled to keep momentum up following a two-month hiatus earlier this year, the third season of the anime has been in production so long it was descending into myth. However, J.C. Staff have confirmed that One Punch Man season three is on its way in 2025.
Why 2025? Well, the first season of One Punch Man came out in 2015, so it marks a nice round number to celebrate. And celebrate it they are. According to the announcement, the new season is just one of 10 projects (referred to as attacks because they’re keeping with the manga’s theme here) that will be released to celebrate a decade of One Punch Man.
So far, only six of these new projects have been announced. They are:
- One Punch Man season three released in 2025
- A new 10th Anniversary visual
- A 10th Anniversary One Punch Man promotional video
- The first two seasons opening and ending animations will be released on YouTube without text
- The first episodes of One Punch Man seasons one and two streaming on YouTube
- The One Punch Man Maji Ongaku-Sai (Serious Music Festival) will be held on September 14, 2025 at Nerima Cultural Center’s Main Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
The remaining four projects will be announced sometime in the next year.
As for when the third season of One Punch Man will arrive, we’re still waiting to find out. It is too late for the Winter 2025 anime season and we probably won’t get it in Spring either. If it is anything like its hero Saitama, the new season of One Punch Man won’t show up until the last minute in the Fall 2025 anime season.
