The thing about the Bridgerton series is that you never really know what is going to happen next. Even reading the books doesn’t give everything away, as the Netflix show has jumped between books repeatedly over the years. Weeks before Bridgerton Season 4 comes out, fans are already speculating about who the main couple of Bridgerton Season 5 will be.

In an active thread in the Bridgerton subreddit, fans have been debating who will be the focus of Bridgerton Season 5, which doesn’t have a release date yet but is set to begin filming in March 2026. The two obvious choices are Eloise and Francesca, both of which are seemingly the two prime candidates for having the book romances explored on screen next.

We won’t dive into too many spoilers here, but fans have been discussing for a few days where they think Bridgerton Season 5 is going to go. And, boy, do they have a lot to say on the subject. The general consensus seems to be that Eloise will be the focus of Season 5 since everyone in her story has already been introduced. However, there is still plenty of time to introduce Francesca’s husband in the fourth season before she becomes the main focus of Season 5.

The truth is that we probably won’t find out who the focus is going to be until Bridgerton Season 5 starts filming in March 2026. Netflix will want to keep a tight lid on everything while Season 4 is airing.

Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1 lands on Netflix on January 29, 2026, while Part 2 airs on February 26, 2026. What comes in Bridgerton Season 5 remains to be seen, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping fans from asking the question of who the main couple will end up being.
