A Hart of Dixie reboot is the kind of "warm and fuzzy" show everyone needs right now, according to star Rachel Bilson

Could we see more Hart of Dixie? The cast is ready to answer the call

When the convention ends, the adventure continues at Broward Center and The Parker, sponsor of this article.

We seem to be living in the age of television reboots. In the past few years alone we’ve seen revivals of Scrubs, Dexter, Frasier, King of the Hill, iCarly, and that’s just off the top of my head. Could Hart of Dixie be next?

While there are currently no plans to revive the CW television drama, the cast is certainly game to answer the hypothetical call. “Yes,” Jaime King enthusiastically says in response to the question during a Florida Supercon panel.

Her co-star Rachel Bilson was also excited by the prospect.

“Yes. We all love each other,” Rachel Bilson adds. “We had so much fun making the show, and it’s a really nice escape. I think everyone could use a show that just makes you feel really warm and fuzzy.”

Wilson Bethel, who knows a thing or two about television shows being revived, also expressed interest, and reminded the audience that the show is currently streaming for free on Pluto TV.

Don’t forget, the 2015 series finale ended with Zoe and Wade married with a new baby. There are plenty of storytelling opportunities, and it would be fun to see the couple juggling parenthood and their careers. That would be good TV, we just need one of the many streamers to greenlight it.
