If we've learned anything from The Sopranos, it's that being a crime boss comes at a cost. And while some men go to therapy for it, other folks make deals with a mermaid, as is the case in Netflix's Kings of Jo'Burg. Finally, after years of waiting, season 3 of the crime drama show is nearly upon us.

Kings of Jo'Burg season 3's release date is June 13, 2025. It's unclear at this time if Netflix is choosing to drop all of the episodes at once, or airing them weekly. Considering that season 2 of the show began streaming all at once in January of 2023, I can't imagine that Netflix would make Kings of Jo'Burg fans wait even longer for episodes to drop weekly. In the event that you binge-watch the entire season in one go, you can take a gander at our collection of upcoming TV shows to get excited for

This season on Kings of Jo'Burg, Connie Ferguson's Veronica Masire seeks to take down the ruler of Cape Town's criminal underworld, Gavin Salat. With the help of her newfound mermaid powers, Veronica may get the job done. However, Salat intends to make her strong family ties into her "weakness," providing another wrinkle in the war Veronica has been fighting for years.

Kings of Jo'Burg season 3 will be released on Netflix on June 13, 2025.
