Seattle pop culture fans, you'll be eating well with Emerald City Comic Con 2026. Because BOOM! Studios, the publisher behind comics like Something Is Killing The Children, BRZRKR, Power Rangers, Mech Cadets, and Once & Future will be on the show floor at ECCC 2026 selling their wares. If you've been on the hunt for a Something Is Killing the Children bandana of your own, now is your time!
ECCC 2026 marks the first time that BOOM! has been at the Seattle convention since 2019 - in other words, The Before Times. Since then, they've exploded with popularity thanks to hits like Something is Killing the Children and BRZRKR. At the moment, we don't know what BOOM! will have at their booth at ECCC 2026 (as much as I wish I were omnipotent), but I can say from my experiences at their booths at San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic Con that they'll likely have merchandise from their biggest series available to buy, as well as plenty of Fancy Dan variant covers.
Chances are, there will probably be writers and artists who have worked on series from BOOM! in artist alley at ECCC 2026 - perhaps, if you're able to get a special variant from the BOOM! booth, you can get it signed by the artist or writer in artist alley? I'm not here to tell you how to plan out your convention. That said, if you have four buddies you'll be going to ECCC with this March, then you've got the right number of people to throw a Power Rangers Prime cosplay together. I'm just saying!
Emerald City Comic Con will take place March 5-8, 2026, at the Seattle Convention Center.
