Did you ever want to see Mina get her chance to fight back in Bram Stoker's Dracula? Well, now she is in a new graphic novella titled Miss Mina and the Midnight Guardians. The series is dreamt up by IDW's former editor-in-chief/associate publisher David Hedgecock, who is producing this through his company Fun Time Go. 

Miss Mina and the Midnight Guardians feels like if Battle Chasers' Joe Madureira were to do a sequel to the classic Dracula, in all the right ways. This is especially thanks to the art duo known as the Xong Brothers: illustrator Balram Banerjee and colorist Krishna Banerjee.

“Drawing Miss Mina and the Midnight Guardians gives a very balanced feel of fun and challenge," say the Xong Brothers, who draw the main story in Miss Mina and the Midnight Guardians. "The story has everything any artist would love to work with: vampires, a big monster with a robotic arm, a beautiful and well-endowed leading lady, and a super-cute cat girl (with loads of action scenes and some emotional beats, as well)! Who can resist drawing all that?”

In addition to a main story by Hedgecock and the Xongs, Miss Mina and the Midnight Guardians includes a back-up comic by Osvaldo 'Montos' Montpeller and David Garcia Cruz, as well as a new prose story by Jonathan Maberry.

The 56-page Miss Mina & the Midnight Guardians is aiming for a January 2027 release, and Hedgecock & his publishing company Fun Time Go! are raising funds & taking pre-orders now on Kickstarter.
