Sometimes it's good to be a slime.
As we were counting down the days until That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime returned with its third season on April 5, we received some unexpected but undeniably exciting news that the show is returning a week early.
Crunchyroll has announced that That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 will debut on its platform this weekend: Saturday, March 30 at 8am Pacific to be exact. Crunchyroll had planned to simultcast this with the show's original debut on Japanese TV channel Nippon TV, and it seems in Japan the release date was moved up - so Crunchyroll moved their date up as well.
As for what to expect from the season, here's what the studio has to say: "Season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime picks up with Rimuru and their nation of Jura Tempest Federation facing new threats and challenges, as they navigate the complexities of diplomacy, conflict, and growth," reads Crunchyroll's description of the new season. "With the return of beloved characters and the introduction of new faces, this season promises to be the most legendary installment yet."
