Stranger Things villain Jamie Campbell Bower would gladly reprise his Twilight role “in a heartbeat," and it needs "to be all about Caius"

Before Jamie Campbell Bower menaced Hawkins, Indiana, as the demonic Vecna, he menaced Forks, Washington, as the vampire Caius. While Bower has had plenty of big roles since The Twilight Saga ended (including an upcoming stint in the Lord of the Rings prequel, Rings of Power), he still has a soft spot in his heart for Caius. In fact, many fans still approach him to tell him they’ll always think of him as the Twilight villain.
“I can take my hair down if you would like,” Jamie Campbell Bower jokes after a fan mentions Caius during a spotlight panel at Emerald City Comic Con 2026.
When asked if he would ever reprise the role, Bower didn’t hesitate. In fact, he answered the question before the fan had finished their sentence. “Yes, I would do it in a heartbeat,” Bower enthusiastically says.
“It would need to be all about Caius. It’s the story nobody wanted, but we all deserved,” Bower jokes.
Don’t forget, Caius is over two thousand years old. This means that there are plenty of opportunities to tell stories about his life before meeting Edward and Bella. Imagine a Caius prequel set during the Civil War, or a late ‘70s disco vampire movie. That would be box office gold.
