While we all wait impatiently to see Yellowstone return for the final few episodes of its run, there is another modern Western show that is looking to capitalize on the success of the Paramount+ series. Ransom Canyon is coming to Netflix soon, giving fans a greater dose of romance and angst to go along with their Western flair. As the show gets ready to head into production this year, we’re finding out more about who will be in the Ransom Canyon cast.

Netflix is avoiding giving too much information about their upcoming modern Western romance show, but we have had a few cast announcements to give us a feel for what the show will be like. The Ransom Canyon cast members we know about so far are:

  • Josh Duhamel as Staten Kirkland, owner and sole occupant of the Double K Ranch
  • Minka Kelly as Quinn O’Grady, who has returned to Ransom Canyon after a short stint in New York City as a concert pianist
  • James Brolin as Cap, an ex-Army captain and owner of the Fuller Ranch
  • Eoin Macken as Davis Collins, the charming, well-educated owner of the Bar W Ranch
  • Lizzy Greene as Lauren Brigman, the ambitious head cheerleader with dreams of leaving Ransom Canyon behind for the city
  • Marianly Tejada as Ellie Estevez, the tough young woman striving to make her mark on Ransom Canyon
  • Jack Schumacher as Yancy Grey, an enigmatic drifter with a troubled past
  • Garrett Wareing as Lucas Russell, a worker at Double K Ranch
  • Andrew Liner as Reid Collins, the star quarterback at Ransom High and boyfriend to Lauren
  • Jaren Robledo as Jack Yellowbird
  • Casey W. Johnson as Kit Russell
  • Jennifer Ens as Ashley
  • Brett Cullen as Senator Samuel “Sam” Kirkland
  • Kate Burton as Katherine Bullock
  • Niko Guardado as Tim O’Grady
  • Philip Winchester as Sheriff Dan Brigman
  • Justin Johnson Cortez as Kai

We’re still waiting for an official release date for Ransom Canyon, but we don’t expect it will make its Netflix debut until late 2024 at the earliest.
