The social season has nearly arrived! In Bridgerton on Netflix, viewers enjoy a regency romance set in an alternate timeline in which George III has established racial equality. In the years since the series debuted in 2020, it has only continued to garner more fans. So when is the Bridgerton Season 4 release date? How much longer will we have to wait until we get a Bridgerton new season to indulge in?

When does Bridgerton Season 4 come out?

The Bridgerton Season 4: Part 1 release date is January 29, 2026 on Netflix. And the Bridgerton Season 4: Part 2 release date is February 26, 2026 on Netflix. Each part will be comprised of four episodes, for a total of eight episodes between the two parts. It has been a little over a year and a half since the second part of Bridgerton Season 3 debuted, on June 13, 2024. And the story won’t end with the fourth season: Bridgerton has already been renewed for a fifth and sixth season. Naturally, the Emmy Award-winning Bridgerton is just one of the show release dates for you to look forward to in the months to come. The Bridgerton Season 4 release date is just the start of plenty more steamy moments in

Here’s the official date announcement trailer for Bridgerton Season 4:

Bridgerton is based on the series of books of the same name by Julia Quinn. However, the show departs from the source material thanks to the alternative history element mentioned above. The new season will follow the romance between Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). Bridgerton Season 4: Part 1 will kick off with a chance meeting at a masquerade ball and go from there.

Why was Daphne removed from Bridgerton after season 2?

The first season of Bridgerton focused heavily on Phoebe Dynevor's character, Daphne Bridgerton. However, she left the series after season 2 and isn't expected to appear in Bridgerton Season 4 or any new seasons going forward. The reason is rather simple, to be honest: Dynevor felt that her character's story had concluded at the end of Season 2 and there wasn't much more for her to do with Daphne. She has, however, left the door open to potential cameos going forward.

What will Bridgerton Season 5 be about?

That is, gentle reader, the big question. Because Netflix switched around the order of how they adapt the Bridgerton books, it isn't immediately clear which Bridgerton child the following seasons will focus on. In fact, it has become a rather heated debate in the fandom, with Eloise seeming like the likely candidate. However, we won't know until the Bridgerton Season 4 release date comes and productions starts on the new season of Bridgerton.

The release date for Bridgerton Season 4: Part 1 on Netflix is January 29, 2026. The release date for Bridgerton Season 4: Part 2 on Netflix is February 26, 2026.
