Brilliant Minds season 2 release date: When the Zachary Quinto starring drama returns to NBC

The medical drama based on the books by Oliver Sacks is coming back to NBC this fall.

In the NBC medical drama Brilliant Minds, Zachary Quinto plays Oliver Wolf, one of Bronx General Hospital's attending neurologists. The series is based on the books The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars by Oliver Wolf Sacks. Soon, the series is returning for a second season. So when can you anticipate the arrival of the release date for Brilliant Minds season 2?

The Brilliant Minds season 2 release date is September 22 at 10/9c on NBC. After that, new episodes will be released on a weekly basis. Furthermore, episodes will be available for streaming on Peacock they day after they air on NBC. It has been almost three quarters of a year since the previous season concluded on January 6, 2025. And we don't need to tell you that this is just one of the many shows that have a release date this fall. Currently, there is no trailer available for Brilliant Minds season 2.

In addition to Quinto, Brilliant Minds features Aury Krebs as Dana Dang, Ashleigh LaThrop as Ericka Kinney, Alex MacNicoll as Van Markus, Spence Moore II as Jacob Nash and Teddy Sears as Josh Nichols. The second season will also feature Brian Altemus as Charlier Porter, Al Calderon as Nurse Scotty Silva and John Clarence Stewart as Anthony Thorne. The second season will follow-up on the cliffhanger that concluded season 1: after Wolf learned that his father (Mandy Patinkin) was still alive, he agreed to help diagnose the mysterious disorder that afflicts him.

Brilliant Minds season 2 debuts on NBC on September 22 at 10/9c.
