High Potential season 2 release date: When the Kaitlin Olson-starring procedural returns to ABC

Get ready for more unconventional crime solving when High Potential season 2 returns this fall.

Some crimes need a little extra intelligence to solve. And on High Potential, that extra intelligence comes from single mother and Los Angeles Police Department cleaning lady Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson). The procedural on ABC is returning this fall for its sophomore season. So when can you expect the release date for High Potential season 2 to arrive?

The High Potential season 2 release date is Tuesday, September 16 at 10 PM ET/9 PM Central. New episodes of the show's second season will continue to be released on a weekly basis in that time slot thereafter. And each new episode of the show will be available for streaming on Hulu the next day. Fans of the series haven't had to wait too long, as the previous season ended in February 2025. But the series is just one of the shows you can look forward to enjoying this autumn. Here's a brief teaser ABC released for High Potential season 2:

If you haven't had the chance to enjoy High Potential yet, you may best know Olson from her role as Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds from the long-running sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. But in High Potential, she plays a consultant who is integral in helping the LAPD solve crimes. The cast of High Potential also includes Daniel Sunjata as Police Detective Adam Karadec and Judy Reyes as Selena Soto, the head of the LAPD's Major Crimes Division. Meanwhile, Morgan's two children are played by Amirah J and Matthew Lamb.

High Potential season 2 will debut on ABC on September 15.
