Murder in a Small Town Season 2 release date: When the season that adds Marcia Gay Harden will debut on Fox

The release date for the guest star-studded Murder in a Small Town Season 2 on Fox is coming up fast.

The release date for the detective procedural Murder in a Small Town on Fox is just around the corner. Starring Rossif Sutherland and Kristin Kreuk, season 2 of the show will add Marcia Gay Harden to the main cast. So when can you expect to be returning to Gibsons for another season of mystery?

The Murder in a Small Town release date is Tuesday, September 23, at 8/7c on Fox. It’s been nearly a year since the season 1 finale of the Canadian American procedural aired on November 26, 2024. While it is unclear how many episodes the second season of Murder in a Small Town will total, the first season was ten episodes long. And of course, Murder in a Small Town Season 2 is just one of the exciting upcoming TV release dates you have to look forward to. Here’s the official trailer for Murder in a Small Town Season 2:

Murder in a Small Town stars Sutherland as Karl Alberg. Formerly a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Alberg has relocated to Gibsons, British Columbia, where he now serves as chief of police. The series also stars Kreuk as librarian Cassandra Lee, who has served as a love interest for Alberg since the first episode. And joining the cast this season is Harden as Mayor Christie Holman. No mere politician, Holman is also a doctor who possesses her own agenda. The second season will also see Dakota Guppy reprising the role of Alberg’s daughter, Holly. And in addition to other returning characters from season 1, you can expect a new slate of characters and guest stars in the show’s sophomore season.

The Murder in a Small Town season 2 release date on Fox is September 23 at 8/7c.
