Star City Season 1 release date: When the For All Mankind spinoff streams on Apple TV

The alternate-history Apple TV series, spinning out from For All Mankind, will be centered on Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in the Soviet Union

In Apple TV's hit series For All Mankind, viewers get a glimpse of a world where the Soviet Union landed on the moon before the United States, and the space race subsequently never ended. Now, in the spinoff series Star City, audiences will see the Soviet Union's side of the story. So when is the Star City Season 1 release date scheduled for launch?

The Star City Season 1 release date is May 29th, 2026 on Apple TV. This means the spinoff will debut on the same day that the season finale of For All Mankind Season 5 streams on Apple TV. The first two episodes of Star City Season 1 will debut on May 29th, and the remaining episodes in the eight-episode season will stream weekly through July 10th, 2026. And of course, there are plenty of other small-screen show release dates you'll need to keep in mind in the months to come. A trailer for Star City Season 1 has yet to be made available.

Like For All Mankind, Star City was created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. The cast includes Rhys Ifans as the Soviet space program's Chief Designer, Anna Maxwell Martin as KGB heavy Lyudmilla Raskova, Agnes O'Casey as Irina Morozova, Alice Englert as cosmonaut Anastasia Belikova, Josef Davies as engineer Sergei Nikulov and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis as Tanya Markelova, a cosmonaut's wife.

The release date for Star City Season 1 on Apple TV is May 29th, 2026.
