Okay, so you've watched the new Star Wars show, The Acolyte - what next?

Looking for more Star Wars stories? We're here for you

The Acolyte is here, but we've already got the scoop on the next Star Wars movies, TV shows, and cartoons - including the highly-anticipated (and highly mysterious) Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. And in case you need a refresher on the High Republic, the possibility of Yoda showing up in The Acolyte, or even the entire Star Wars timeline, we've got those too. Amd tell us your favorite Star Wars show here!

So… you’ve just watched the first two episodes of The Acolyte on Disney+. What do you do now? Well, besides wait a week for the next episode, of course. (It debuts June 11 at 9pm Eastern, in case you’re wondering.)

While you’re waiting for us to weigh in on the debut episodes — keep your eyes peeled — it would be entirely reasonable for you to have some questions about the show so far. For example, why does Lee Jung-jae look so familiar? Where have we seen Amandla Stenberg before? What is the High Republic, anyway? Is the show really inspired by an episode of The Clone Wars animated series? (That last one, the answer is yes, at least in part. You really want to click through to find out more.) In case you can’t tell from all of that, we’ve been excited about this show for awhile, and not just because it’s the most original Star Wars story we’ve seen in some time.

Maybe you’re curious how the show fits into the bigger Star Wars timeline, or the way in which it echoes The Last Jedi; perhaps you’re even wondering about the tease of how contains some shout-outs to the now-non-canonical Expanded Universe. Again, there’s a lot of stuff there to discover, beyond the main storyline. No wonder we’re so into it.

Of course, that might be because we just like Star Wars. We love everything that’s already come out, and we’re expecting to enjoy everything that’s to come, as well. Of course, that’s not to say we love it all equally; we are discerning fans, after all. We especially have some feelings about the TV shows. But if you’re looking for Ahsoka, Andor, or The Bad Batch — to say nothing of The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi or any of the other many Star Wars projects — we’d like to think we’re here for you.

And, yes, that means that if you are looking for some way to kill the time until the next episode of The Acolyte — or just want to revisit the past few Star Wars Celebration events while planning a trip to Tokyo for next year’s show — we’d like to think we’ve got a lot of things to keep you interested. I mean, how else are you planning on visiting a galaxy far, far away, anyway…?
