While beloved sitcom The Office was set at a paper company, the ongoing spinoff sequel is set at a local newspaper. Featuring Domhnall Gleeson in the role of Editor-in-Chief Ned Sampson, The Paper is returning to Peacock for a second season. So, when can you expect The Paper Season 2 release date to arrive?

The Paper Season 2 release date is September 9th, 2026 on Peacock. All ten episodes of Season 2 will be released simultaneously, as was the case with the first season. Speaking of Season 1, it's been only a year since the first season was released on September 4th, 2025. On The Paper, the documentary crew that filmed Dunder Mifflin on The Office turns to the Toledo Truth Teller, a newspaper in the process of reinventing itself under the guidance of new EiC Ned Sampson (Gleeson). The cast also includes Alex Edelman as Adam Cooper, Chelsea Frei as Mare Pritti, Melvin Gregg as Detrick Moore, Gbemisola Ikumelo as Adelola Olofin, Sabrina Impacciatore as Esmeralda Grand, Tim Key as Ken Davies and Ramona Young as Nicole Lee. Rounding out the cast is Oscar Nunez as Oscar Martinez, reprising the role he originated on The Office.
