Fablelistik has opened pre-orders for the special editions of Rebecca Yarros's Fourth Wing

How much is too much to spend on a book? You know what, I shouldn't even be asking this question, as someone who collects single-issue comics by Jack Kirby from the 1970s (one day I'll get ahold of a copy of New Gods #1, just not today).
If you also enjoy spending money on pretty books, then you're in luck. Two different collectors' editions of Rebecca Yarros's Fourth Wing are now available for pre-order, alongside a numbered edition and lettered edition. Publisher's Weekly reports that Fablelistik Editions, the Macmillan unit behind the printings, has upped the number of copies that will be printed of each edition to 5,000. The two collectors' editions of the book are available in two different themes based on the protagonists of the book, Violet and Xaden. Both the Violet and Xaden-themed collectors' editions are priced at $185 currently.
Likewise, if you want to get fancier, the numbered edition of Fourth Wing, which will only have a 500-copy print run, will set you back $705. And the most expensive of the bunch, the lettered version, costs a whopping $3,500. As the name suggests, only 26 copies of the lettered edition will be printed.
Collectors' editions will not be shipped until December, Publisher's Weekly reports, while numbered and lettered editions won't be going to their new homes until "next winter or early spring." Good things come to those who wait.
You can take a gander at the entire Fourth Wing collection from Fablelistik here. Happy hunting!
Just like yourself, the Popverse staff spends a whole lot of time with our respective noses in respective books. It's why we've come up with stuff like:
- The hottest upcoming fiction
- Queer romance to add to your reading list
- A genre fiction literary column called If It Bleeds, We Read
...and a whole lot more. Join our metaphorical library, won't you? There are no late fees and you can be as loud as you want, so long as the people you live with are OK with it.
