The road of the Attack on Titan anime is finally winding down. Crunchyroll has announced that the last two episodes of the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's manga will be screened as one film called Attack on Titan: The Last Attack. The film will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles as well as dubbed in English for one day only in North America. So if you're looking to give a proper send-off to the Attack on Titan anime, this is your time.
Attack on Titan: The Last Attack will release in theaters on February 10, 2025. Crunchyroll has unveiled a short teaser for the event, showing a seismograph going absolutely nuts. You can check it out below.
The Attack on Titan anime adaptation has built a massive following since it began in 2013. The anime wrapped up in 2023, but that isn't stopping Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment from joining forces for the theatrical event. As much as we all love the convenience of watching our favorite shows from the comfort of our homes, nothing beats the theatrical experience -- especially when you're watching epic battle scenes. I would be lying if I said that I never wanted to go back to 2003 just to see The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in theaters again.
Attack on Titan: The Last Attack provides the perfect opportunity to get together with your fellow Attack on Titan fans and experience the emotional rollercoaster of the anime all over again. There's something to be said about how the experience of seeing heart-pounding action scenes changes when you're watching it with a group of other people in the dark.
Attack on Titan: The Last Attack will release in theaters on February 10, 2025 for one day only.
