Street Fighter release date: When the highly anticipated video game adaptation arrives in theaters

The new Street Fighter adaptation will feature a star-studded ensemble cast.

You better start practicing shouting “Hadoken” now: before too long, a new adaptation of Street Fighter will be arriving in theaters. The third live-action theatrical adaptation of the classic video game series, which began with Street Fighter in 1987, will be released in theaters next year. So when can you expect the release date for Street Fighter (2026) from Paramount Pictures to arrive?

The Street Fighter release date is October 16, 2026 in theaters. It has been three decades since the first adaptation of the game, also titled Street Fighter, was released in theaters in 1994. This was followed by Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li in 2009. But soon, over a decade and a half later, this new adaptation of Street Fighter promises a cast unlike any other. And naturally it’s only one of the upcoming movie release dates for you to look forward to. Currently, an official trailer for Street Fighter (2026) is not yet available.

Street Fighter will feature Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Roman Reigns as Akuma and Callina Liang as Chun-Li. It will also star Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim and Eric André as Don Sauvage. Rounding out the cast will be Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, Mel Jarnson as Cammy, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Alexander Volkanovski as Joe and Kyle Mooney as Marvin.

The release date for Street Fighter in theaters is October 16, 2026.
