Do you have any big plans for 2027? If you’re a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan, you might want to keep your calendar open, because Kevin Eastman and the TMNT voice actors are cooking up something special for the cartoon’s 40th anniversary.  

“We do have the luckiest job. We are so lucky that we get to do these shows together,” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman says during a panel at Florida Supercon. “We really want to do something special for the 40^th anniversary next year for the cartoon. Like some kind of live event people can experience because we’re lucky that we get to spend our time with you. Let’s do something awesome where we can all be on stage and answer these questions and show highlights and clips and things that we love. It’s deserved and it’s well earned. We get to see each other and it’s one of my favorite things.” 

Eastman even hinted that he would share special never before seen content, like Chuck Lorre’s alternate version of the TMNT theme song. No date or venue has been announced yet, but this sounds like an event you won’t want to miss. Maybe they can serve pizza at the event. After all, who hasn’t dreamed of eating pizza alongside the Ninja Turtles?
