Could the cast of Daredevil: Born Again get any cuter? In a way, yeah.

Don't just take my word for it - this comes straight some of the lead actors based on the hit show inspired by Marvel Comics themselves, as they recently sat down to reveal their answers to a particularly adorable question: which animal would each of their characters be? We have their answers below.

The subject came up at Florida SuperCon 2026, where Daredevil stars Deborah Ann Woll, Wilson Bethel, and Charlie Cox took part in a fan Q&A panel moderated by Popverse's own Ashley V. Robinson. At one point during the discussion, a fan by the name of Dakota stepped up to ask the question of which animal each of their characters would be, inspired by her stated are of study: veterinarian medicine.

Woll answered so quickly you have to wonder if she wasn't expecting it.

"I guess I I'm going to go with a fox," said the True Blood star. "Isn't Wilson just a golden retriever with the behavioral issue?"

"I'll take that," Bethel agreed. "I'll take Golden Richard retriever with a behavioral issue, yeah. Stop peeing on the floor, among other things."

"At least you have better aim," Woll included.

"I'm going to go with octopus," said Cox, maybe taking the answer a shred more seriously than his costars, "Don't they have - on their tentacles - don't they have thousands or millions of senses?"

The consensus on stage was that, yes, octopuses are uniquely sensitive, which Bethel chalks up to them "being aliens." And at this point we have to point out that that is a very, very golden retriever thing to say.
