The Last Thing He Told Me season 2 release date: When the Jennifer Garner series returns to Apple TV

Garner not only serves as the show's star but also as an executive producer.

The Last Thing He Told Me on Apple TV is a mystery drama/thriller series starring and executive-produced by Jennifer Garner. Based on the novels by Laura Dave, the series was developed by Dave and Josh Singer. So, when can you expect the release date for The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 on Apple TV to arrive?

The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 release date is February 20, 2026 on Apple TV. It has been roughly two and a half years since the first season concluded on May 19, 2023. The show's second season will be eight episodes long, with new episodes debuting on a weekly basis. Naturally, you don't need me to tell you that there are TV and streaming show release dates aplenty to keep track of this spring. Currently, a trailer is not available for The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2.

While the first season of The Last Thing He Told Me was based on Dave's 2021 novel of the same name, the second season will be based on the sequel, The First Time I Saw Him, published on January 6, 2026. In the first season of The Last Thing He Told Me, Hannah Hall (Garner) had to grapple with the disappearance of her husband, Owen Michaels (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), in the wake of an FBI raid. Owen left nothing but a bag of money and a note instructing Hall to protect his teenage daughter, Bailey Michaels (Angourie Rice). In the second season, Owen reappears after half a decade on the run. Can Hall successfully reunite their family, against all odds?

The release date for the premiere of The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2 on Apple TV is February 20, 2026.
