We are now in the second half of the year, which means that The Simpsons' annual Christmas special isn't too far off. This fall, season 35 of the show, which began airing on Fox last fall, will hit Disney+. In addition to season 35, Disney+ will also drop a two part Christmas special entitled "O C'mon All Ye Faithful."
The Simpsons' Christmas double episode will drop on December 17, 2024 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the very first Simpsons Christmas special. Fans can watch the episode on Disney+. The fact that this will be the 35th anniversary of a Simpsons episode tradition proves how well the show has adapted to a changing television and streaming landscape over the past couple of decades. Since 1989, The Simpsons has continued to remain relevant to discussions in popular culture and beyond.
If you're also hoping for a Simpsons Halloween special, fear not. Treehouse of Horror is back for a 35th episode this year during spooky season. What better balance can there be than with a heartwarming holiday special and a terrifying horror episode? Just like life, The Simpsons is full of both wholesome and horrifying moments.
The Simpsons' Christmas Special will drop on December 17, 2024 on Disney+.
