The Sandman: season 2 volume 1 release date: The Netflix adaptation's swansong begins with a little Delirium

Season 2 of Netflix's adaptation of The Sandman is entering into, uh, a much different world than season 1 did.

The boys are back in town, or shall we say, the Endless are back in town. Ahah. I'm feeling lots of feelings about The Sandman's season 2 coming soon, since I have spent the better part of 3 years anxiously awaiting it. But now, knowing that it's going to be the show's final season and that the original writer of the comic series I once loved is allegedly a huge creep, The Sandman season 2 is uh, well... what it is.

The Sandman season 2 volume 1 will be released on Netflix on July 3, 2025. If you're American, celebrating your Fourth of July weekend with your besties Dream, Destiny, Despair, Death, Desire, and Delirium is about as good as things get in this year 2025, pardon my distant screaming. Volume 2 of season 2 will drop on July 24, 2025, as if we aren't already busy enough with all the television to watch this summer. Around the same time that The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters. Galactus help us all.

This season, the Endless meet their new sibling, Delirium, who makes a rather mucky entrance in the trailer. Gwendoline Christie returns to reprise her role as Lucifer, wings and all. And based on images that Netflix has posted from this season, Boyd Holbrook will return as everyone's favorite eyeball-less serial killer, The Corinthian (god forbid a nightmare have hobbies).

The Sandman season 2 volume 1 will be released on Netflix on July 3, 2025, while volume 2 releases on July 24, 2025.
